Honda Activa 125 is a scooter available at a starting price of Rs. 77,575 in India. It is available in 3 variants and 8 colours with top variant price starting from Rs. 84,749. The Honda Activa 125 is powered by 124cc BS6 engine which develops a power of 8.18 bhp and a torque of 10.3 Nm. With both front and rear drum brakes, Honda Activa 125 comes up with combined braking system of both wheels. This Activa 125 scooter weighs 111 kg and has a fuel tank capacity of 5.3 liters.
Honda has updated its 125cc iteration of the Activa to comply with the newest emission norms, and the scooter has received several new features and styling upgrades during the transition. For starters, the BS6-compliant 124cc engine, which comes equipped with a fuel injection technology, produces 8.1bhp of power at 6,500rpm and 10.3Nm of peak torque at 5,000rpm. The motor also benefits from an ACG starter and Enhanced Smart Power (eSP), and tumble flow technology. Honda claims 13 per cent more fuel economy than its predecessor.
The styling cues have received a few tweaks, and the Activa 125 now packs an LED headlight along with apron-mounted LED position lamps. The full metal body and chrome highlights further improve the premium look of the scooter. Other convenience features on the BS6 model include a multifunction switch, Idling Stop System, pass switch, external fuel filler cap, and a front glove box. The safety net on the scooter includes a side-stand engine cut-off function and CBS.
The hardware comprises of telescopic front forks and three-step adjustable spring-loaded suspension at the back. The anchoring tasks are handled by a 190mm disc (top-spec) at the front and a 130mm drum setup at the back.
The semi-digital instrument cluster includes an analog speedometer and an LCD screen that shows current fuel efficiency, mileage, range, a trip meter, an odometer, and a clock. The instrument cluster also features a malfunction lamp and a side stand indicator.
